DONOHOE TO CONSTRUCT HILTON GARDEN INN - BETHESDA
December 2007

Donohoe Construction Company recently started construction on the Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda on Waverly Street, Bethesda, Maryland. This is the first new hotel project in Bethesda within the last 24 years.

The hotel, with 216 rooms, a restaurant and lounge, fitness center, pool, business center and meeting space, will be the new centerpiece of the Air Rights Center, a 715,000 SF complex of three office towers complemented by retail, structured parking and restaurants. The new hotel will interconnect with the existing buildings via raised glass walkways, allowing access through the complex. Working with the complex’s owner, TIAA-CREF, Donohoe devised a plan to partially demolish the Air Rights parking structure in order to add the hotel along the Waverly Street frontage – all the while keeping the rest of the garage continually open to service Air Rights’ customers.

Donohoe Development Company developed the project for the hotel’s owner, Bethesda Hotel Associates, LLC. The architect is Brennan Beer Gorman & Monk. Upon completion in late 2009, Donohoe Hospitality Services will manage the hotel.

DONOHOE TO CONSTRUCT RESIDENCE INN ARLINGTON COURTHOUSE
October 2007

Donohoe Construction Company recently broke ground for the construction of the Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse in Arlington, Virginia.

The Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse is a 10-story extended stay hotel development on the western end of Courthouse Plaza, the civic center of Arlington, Virginia. The hotel will have 176 rooms with kitchenettes, a fitness center, indoor pool, a 3-level below grade parking garage, and a landscaped plaza area. There will be approximately 10,000 square feet of retail space located on the ground floor.

Donohoe Development Company is developing the project for the hotel's owner, Arlington Hotel Associates, LLC. The architect is Leo A. Daly. Upon completion, Donohoe Hospitality Services will manage the hotel.

DONOHOE TOPS OUT ABINGDON HEIGHTS
October 2007

Donohoe Construction Company recently topped out the Abingdon Heights project in Arlington, Virginia. The project will feature an 11-story condominium tower with 213 units and 3 levels of below grade parking, 24 stick-built townhouses, 7 structural pre-cast plank on masonry townhouses and 4 duplexes. Amenities will include a fitness center in the condominium tower and an outdoor swimming pool.

Completion is scheduled for Fall 2008.

The owner of the project is Arlington Condominium, Inc. The architect for the project is WDG Architecture, PLLC.

DONOHOE COMPLETES STERLING AT THE METRO
December
2006

Donohoe Construction Company has completed construction of The Sterling at The Metro, located on Old Georgetown Road in North Bethesda, Maryland, near the White Flint Metro Station. This 16-story luxury condominium building has 197 units with an underground parking garage. The building also features a well-appointed lobby, community room, fitness center, a pocket park, a residential courtyard with a pool, and beautifully landscaped gardens.

The project also contains 15,000 SF of professional / commercial space. Donohoe Real Estate Services handled the sale of these six spaces.

The Donohoe Companies, Inc. developed the project. The project architect is VOA.

Donohoe Construction Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Glen McEwen from Director of Operations to Vice President. Glen joined Donohoe in 2003 as a Sr. Project Manager.

Glen attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering. With over 25 years in the construction industry, Glen's experience in all aspects of project management is a great asset to the Donohoe team.

DONOHOE COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION OF THE ODYSSEY CONDOMINIUM
September 2006

Donohoe Construction Company has completed construction of The Odyssey Condominium at 2001 15th Street, Arlington, Virginia.

This 465,000 square-foot project is comprised of 10 townhouses and a 16-story high-rise building with 265 condominiums. Located close to a large office concentration, and just across the Potomac River from Washington, DC, the architecturally stunning high-rise building utilizes a flowing curved curtainwall that maximizes the beautiful views of Washington, DC and the monuments. Amenities include spacious private balconies, below-grade garage parking, a fitness center, rooftop swimming pool, and a multi-purpose room with a kitchen. Street level retail was also included.

Monument Realty, LLC developed the project and the architect is Shalom Baranes Associates.

DONOHOE COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION OF STUDENT HOUSING AT THE GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY
August 2006

Donohoe Construction Company recently completed construction of Potomac House Residence Hall for The George Washington University in Washington, DC. The 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art building is located at 2021 F Street, NW, which is part of GW's Foggy Bottom Campus.

The 10-story co-ed residence hall will provide housing for 379 freshmen in four-person, single-sex suites of two double rooms with a shared bathroom. Some two-person suites are available. Also included is a community room with a kitchen facility on the lower level; a laundry facility; study rooms on the first and second floors; and cable TV connections in every room along with individual internet and phone lines for each student.

A new GW food service venue, Carvings, will occupy 1,300 square feet on the first floor and will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The project architect is Ayers/Saint/Gross.

Catering to the Northern Virginia business traveler, the hotel features in-room high-speed Internet access, a business center, and fitness facilities. Other hotel amenities include 1,500 square feet of meeting space, an indoor swimming pool, spa, and a hotel lounge and restaurant.

Donohoe Development Company developed the project for the hotel's owner, Tysons Hotel Investors, LLC. The architect for the project is BBGM. Donohoe Hospitality Services is managing the hotel.

DONOHOE COMPLETES RENOVATIONS AND ADDITION AT ASBURY PARK VIEW
January 2006

Donohoe Construction Company has completed renovations and an addition to Asbury Park View at 211 Russell Avenue, part of the Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

After total interior demolition, restoration of the original building was completed. The renovations and 8-story addition resulted in 65 luxury apartments including one and two bedroom units, some with dens. A precast parking garage and a new roadway were also part of the project.

The project owner is Asbury Methodist Village. The architect for the project is Cochran, Stephenson & Donkervoet, Inc.

DONOHOE COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION OF THE COLONNADE AT KENTLANDS CONDOMINIUMS
December 2005
Donohoe Construction Company has completed construction of the Colonnade at Kentlands Condominiums in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

This complex consists of ten buildings housing 307 condominiums along with a 6-story parking garage connected to the buildings. There is a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units, with over 200 having fireplaces. The 4th floor units feature lofts. The landscaped grounds include 4 fountains and a small park.

Amenities include a swimming pool, a cold water spa, library and cyber café, pub and billiard room, media room, fitness center and cardio exercise room, and sauna.

The project was developed by Archstone-Smith and the architect is The Preston Partnership, LLC. The project is currently owned by EL-AD Kentlands, LLC and the property management company is Altman Management.

DONOHOE COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION OF THE MARRIOTT RESIDENCE INN - BALTIMORE
November 2005

Donohoe Construction Company completed construction of the Marriott Residence Inn – Baltimore located at 17 Light Street, Baltimore, Maryland.

The 15-story hotel features 188 guestrooms with full kitchens and street level retail space and is in the center of activity with close proximity to Baltimore's Inner Harbor, the Convention Center and the downtown Financial District. Other amenities include two conference rooms, a fitness room, and a guest laundry room to accommodate extended stay guests.

Baltimore Hotel Associates, LLC of Bethesda, Maryland developed the project and the architect is Brennan Beer Gorman Monk Architects & Interiors, PLLC.

Donohoe Construction Company recently completed construction of Wilton House @ Merrifield Metro located at 2726 Gallows Road, Merrifield, Virginia.

This fifteen-story building contains 259 condominiums consisting of studios, one and two bedroom units. Some units have dens and balconies. Amenities include a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center and a party room with an outdoor patio.

October 2005

Donohoe Construction Company recently completed the South Tower at Potomac Place, located at 355 Eye Street, SW, Washington, DC. The North Tower of the project, which is located at 350 G Street, SW, was completed in 2004.

Potomac Place consists of two seven-story buildings containing 302 condominiums. The project also includes an elevated landscaped plaza, swimming pool, an underground parking garage, fitness center, high-tech business center, and a community room.

Monument Realty developed the project and the architect is Weihe Design Group.

Charlie Mead rejoins Donohoe Construction Company as Director of Business Development. Charlie will be responsible for implementing DCC's business development activities. During Charlie's 27 years experience in the commercial construction industry, he has worked as Marketing Manager, Chief Estimator, and Project Manager.

Charlie attended the University of Maryland and currently resides with his family in Silver Spring, Maryland.

August 2005

Donohoe Construction Company recently completed construction of the Lofts 590 located at 590 South 15th Street, Arlington, Virginia. The 4-story, wood frame apartment building has 212 units with a mix of studios, one, and two bedroom apartments. Some units are 2-level loft apartments with bedrooms overlooking the living area. Other units feature 9-foot ceilings and loft style open floor plans with a variety of finishes such as stained concrete floors and cork floors. Amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, and underground parking.

Charles E. Smith Residential developed and owns the project. The architect for the project is SK & I Architectural Design Group.
